This access statement does not contain personal opinions as to our suitability for those with disabilities, but aims to accurately describe the facilities and services that we offer to our clients.

Our exclusive and luxury skincare ranges have been carefully selected for their outstanding results. Vspa highly qualified Spa Therapists will make your visit memorable and leave you looking forward to your next visit.

Re-discover your senses…..rest your mind…..and let us pamper your body and soul. Whether you wish to de-stress, indulge or detox, a myriad of suggestions lie in the Treatment Menu. Choose from holistic therapies, beauty treatments or a combination of the two, should you need guidance, we offer a helpful complimentary pre-treatment consultation service. The spa has been setup as an ultimate chill out day spa. There are no wet facilities. There is a luxury relaxation room which includes an infrared sauna. This suite must be booked in advanced and is to be used by one person at a time or by two people coming into treatment together. You will find a relaxing atmosphere as well as effective treatments for beauty and well-being.

Vspa consists of:

  • A ground floor building
  • Main Reception Area
  • One relaxation suite including an infrared Sauna
  • One Couples room for two people to enjoy a treatment together at the same time.
  • A single treatment room.
  • A step, to Wc at the back of the Spa.

To Enter the building

There is a small slope.


General Information

The internal floors throughout the Spa are vinyl flooring apart from entrance to the toilets which is carpeted. The WC is vinyl flooring and has a step to enter the WC room.

All floors are manned at all times. We do not permit the use of mobile phones or cameras within the spa. There is background music throughout the Spa. The lighting in the Spa is ambient and varies in different parts of the Spa.

Much of the decor is either white or very pale colours/light brows in the treatment rooms.

We offer a 10% reduction on spa sessions to all disabled guests and also to their carers.

Children under 16 are not permitted in the Spa, unless it’s booked as a pamper party.The entire Spa is a non-smoking. Smoking right outside the building is not permitted.

For the security and safety of our clients as well as employee’s There is CCTV camera’s in operation 24/7 in reception, the main hallway, 2nd hallway leading to the toilets and in the staff kitchen watching over 3rd hallway.

Accessibility Summary

Vspa is wheelchair accessible from entering the building to going into the treatment rooms.

The WC is not wheelchair accessible.

No guarantee can be given that electric wheelchairs can be stored during the visit due to the limited space and passageways / fire exits are required to be kept clear at all times.

Mobility scooters are not permitted in the Spa but it can be parked outside the main Spa, where they can be left at owner’s risk.

The therapy beds cannot be lowered to assist access, however please discuss your needs upon booking.

It must be noted that our staff are not ‘person’ manual handling trained.

We would advise that you bring a carer. If this is not possible please contact us in advance so that we can discuss your requirements.

We don’t welcome guests with service dogs due to health and safety reasons.

Medical Conditions

We are not a medical centre and our staff are not medically trained practitioners. If you have had or are suffering from severe allergies, ill health, a particular medical condition or are pregnant we advise you to speak to your GP prior to arrival to ensure you can use our full facilities, services and treatments. In some instance we may require written confirmation from your Doctor. All treatments booked are subject to medical status. We reserve the right to refuse treatments if we feel it is not in the best interest of the Client. Vspa will not be held liable for any treatment cancelations due to ill health due to lack of information given at the time of booking and no refunds will be given.* Clients must ensure the Verrucas / foot conditions are suitably covered in the interest of hygiene whilst using the facilities.

Car Parking Facilities

There is no designated blue badge permit on-street parking near the entrance however if you have a disable badge you are able to park anywhere on Fortescue road.Normal parking regulations for Forestcue road is up to two hours of parking from Monday to Fridays and any time or however long you wish on weekends. It’s free parking.

There is other parking and car parks further down the road from the spa.

Arrival at Main Reception

If you require any assistance from your car to come to our spa please inform us upon booking.

On arrival at the Spa you will be ‘booked in’ at the Reception.

Treatment room/s

Please advise us of any medical conditions at the time of booking. Every customer will be asked about contra-indications at the time of booking a treatment and, upon arrival, at the treatment reception desks. If you have a medical condition we may ask for a doctor’s Letter.

There is background music throughout the Spa. This can be turned down in the individual treatment rooms.

Staff are not person manual handling trained. If a guest requires assistance during treatment to manoeuvre then it is recommended a carer comes with the client. Please inform our staff at the time of booking if you have any special requirements.


Sauna Suite

This is a bookable service.

We recommend that you do not use the sauna if you are pregnant or have any of the following:

Diabetes/circulatory problems

High or low blood pressure

Any infectious skin diseases, sores or wounds

If you are taking any of the following: anticoagulants, antihistamines, vasoconstrictors, vasodilators, stimulators, hypnotics, narcotics or tranquilizers

If you are taking any other medication or suffer from any condition which makes you unsure as to the advisability of using the sauna.

You will be asked to fill out a medical consultation form prior to using the sauna.

The room has an internal door, then another glass door to the sauna. The sauna is small and therefore you will only be able to sit down.

Booking an Appointment:

The easiest way to book an appointment is to call our spa, but in the event of not being able to reach us by phone, please do leave us a voice message or send us an e-mail.  We will endeavour to reply to all voice messages within 1 hour.

Upon Booking please let the receptionist know of any medical conditions you may have as we cannot be held liable for this.

Also please read our T & C regarding our Deposit and Cancellation Policy. A 50% deposit is required over the phone to secure your booking.
